1. Overview
launchpads.world (“Platform”, “we”) is a non-custodial prediction-market protocol. We are designed to collect as little personal data as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
2. What We Collect
2.1 Wallet Addresses (Public On-Chain Data)
When you interact with a market, your Solana wallet address is written to the blockchain. Blockchain data is public and permanent. We index wallet addresses solely to display your positions and transaction history within the Platform.
2.2 Usage Data
Our infrastructure may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser user-agent, request timestamps, and referring URLs) for security, abuse prevention, and performance monitoring. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.
2.3 Preference Data (Local Storage)
The Platform stores your Terms acceptance version and any user-interface preferences (such as network selection) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
2.4 No Account or Email Collection
We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the Platform. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or government-issued IDs.
3. How We Use Data
- To display your positions, market history, and resolution receipts.
- To resolve markets from confirmed on-chain activity (Pump.fun, Pons).
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or prohibited activities.
- To monitor and improve Platform performance and reliability.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. On-Chain Data
All transactions broadcast to the Solana blockchain are permanently public. The Platform does not control or have the ability to delete on-chain data. If you interact with the protocol, the associated wallet address and transaction details are publicly visible on-chain and through block explorers.
5. Third-Party Infrastructure
We use the following third-party infrastructure providers. Each provider processes data subject to its own privacy policy:
- Helius — Solana RPC and data provider. Requests to read and write Solana chain data are routed through Helius endpoints.
- Alchemy — Robinhood/Pons chain RPC provider. Pons-related chain reads are routed through Alchemy endpoints.
- Vercel — Web application hosting. Vercel processes request logs in accordance with its privacy policy.
- Supabase / PostgreSQL — Stores public market and position data, plus service records needed to keep markets current. It does not store wallet private keys.
We sanitise all provider logs to remove secret-bearing paths and query strings.
6. Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The Platform may use functional session cookies required for security or performance. We do not use third-party analytics cookies.
7. Data Retention
- Server logs: 30 days maximum.
- Market and service records: retained for the operational lifetime of the Platform.
- Local storage preferences: stored in your browser until you clear them.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Because the Platform collects minimal personal data, most user-identifiable information is limited to wallet addresses, which are public on-chain.
To make a data request, contact us through the official launchpads.world community channels. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Platform, please contact us.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where material, communicated through the Platform.
